Before the cheese arrives at your door...
Le Comptoir's teams in both Japan and France work together to optimize the process of importing cheese and get it right to the customer doorstep. By reducing the number of intermediaries as much as possible we deliver directly from the producer to you through our unique supply chain.
01 - Selecting the producers
We built partnerships with people who produce the best cheeses in France and other European countries such as Italy and Spain. The producers are often telling that they are very happy to know that their cheeses are enjoyed by people in Japan, a country with a rich food culture.
02 - Bringing the cheese to Japan
Maintaining refrigeration all along the supply chain while exporting the cheese by air. For this crucial step we ask a reliable partner who is certified in food handling management to help us getting the products in good condition all the way to Japan.
03 - And finally... Delivering to you !
After arriving in Japan, we complete customs clearance and finally ship the product to the customer. We use a well-known Japanese delivery company, so you are sure to get your order delivered without trouble. We do not import in excessive quantity in consideration of food loss, but we assure variety of our boxes and cheeses will different each months.
